Nay Nay 18
I am in love with Bosco. He is the brother that Griffin should have had. Everything about him says power, money, success, and dangerous. He is perfect for Carmen in every way and vice versa. The next book is going to be bitter sweet because all good things come to an end but I’m so anxious to find out how Bosco and Carmen are going to keep their relationship. Carmen’s father and Crow are not going to accept him and it’s going to be a Bones and Vanessa situation all over again. I have a feeling about what’s going to bring everyone together but I’ll keep the spoilers to myself😜.
Carmen is definitely a fighter. She fights for and against anything she loves. Bosco does a great job of protecting Carmen while also letting her be independent. Their connection is so strong he doesn’t want to fight it and she can’t. He was never what she wanted for her future, but now what kind of future does she have without him. The Butcher absolutely creeped me out! Bosco stepped in that ring to fight for his reputation, but more so, Carmen’s respect. With everyone guaranteed to hate him, what task is he going to pull off to win their favor? I’m thinking this should be the entrance of Egor. I’m sad to see the series end, but I can’t wait to finally have a whole happy Barsetti clan.
I am completely mind blown by this story! How can Carmen just give up like that without even trying?! I know her and Bosco’s story isn’t over yet but I just can’t get over her. Makes me want to say she’s my least favorite Barsetti woman. Bosco has gone above and beyond for her. Granted he can be quite the jerk too. Still it’s no excuse. Ughhh!!! I can honestly say Penelope is one of my favorite authors! And for good reason, she can truly keep her readers wanting more and more. Reading her books is just constant page turning, with unbelievable twists and turns. I can’t wait for Lover in Lingerie!!!
This is the best out of the series, I can’t believe there’s only one more left! I don’t know how Penelope will top this but she always does!
Bosco and Carmen favorite couple at the moment I can’t believe they finally confessed their love for each other . I wonder what Carmen’s father will say how will Bones react to her feelings for Bosco!!! Can’t wait for the next book!!!!
Sister Mary Clarence
This is a great book. I’m excited for the final book. I hope Penelope will end the series with a great finish. Please dont disappoint Penelop!
Bosco is a rough man who doesn’t love. He is rich and runs this city with an iron fist and fierceness, he doesn’t do love and rarely sleeps with the same woman more than once. He is infatuated with Carmen.
When Carmen sees he is a ruthless man and knows acceptance from her family is only a dream after what happened with Bones, she tries to leave Bosco so he makes her a few for 3 months but what neither of them expected is that maybe 3 months isn’t enough!
Carmen is definitely a favorite strong female Barsetti for me. She’s outspoken and yet wants what every human wants, Love.
The Barsetti family reminds me so much of my own, we are super close and caring.
Can’t wait for next book
This series has had any avenues to show the one that you love then. When the odds are against you. While Bosco and Carmen are set to have an expiration date it is obvious that is has went beyond that initial connection and they are falling in love. When the man (The Butcher) from the Casino starts stalking her she vows in 24 hours he will be dead. He lived through the ring. But then entered Bosco, who defeated him, in the honor of Carmen. Vanessa has been the only one to know if their relationship, until the end, Bones finds out. Now we wait and see, does she leave at the end of the 90 days or does she stay with the man she had fallen in love with.
I swear I say every book that the new love story is my favorite. This one is so much different than all the rest! I am so captivated by Carmen and Bosch’s love story! I am so ready for more, but don’t want them to end!
I absolutely loved it!
Y’all! This book is just as good as the rest! Carmen proves to be the perfect Barsetti with her fight, personality, and loyalty to her family. Her and Bosco have an up and down relationship that keeps you scrolling until the book ends. I love the passion, violence, and emotions that Bosco and Carmen go through to figure out that they both love each other as much as they do.
