I read mysteries constantly. This is the best one I’ve read in years. It is outstanding. The characters are captivating and the writing is excellent. It is a great story. I highly recommend it. Once you start, you cannot put it down.

Thrilling novel for a starter.

I purchased this book given I am a Jack Reacher fan, and I am glad I did. Peter is just an outstanding main character akin to Jack Reacher and some. The writing flows as well as the storyline, and the emotional and psyche narratives lends themselves well for getting into the heads of the characters. I will not give a synopsis of the book so as not to ruin a reading for you all. I purchased the physical copy also to add to my bookshelf as it is a worthy written work. Kudos for the author for an outstanding reading experience!

I really really enjoyed, and I don't usually write reviews. I saw this was your first published novel and I want to say good job and I'll be waiting for your next book!!! Ronda

Excellent book. Thoughtful & provoking. Characters (two legged and four legged) took on a life of their own.

Slightly predictable and the ending I thought would be a little more climatic. However I enjoyed it and it kept my attention.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. It was heartwarming and action filled. The way the veterans' story was interwoven was well told and I know was truly real.

A very good read! Couldn't put down until I finished it! We put on an event for former Prisoners of War and the stories they share are heart rendering. They will tell you they still have nightmares every night no matter what war they served in. We welcome them home every year.

Well written. Reminds me of Lee Childs and the Jack Reacher series. Crisp dialogue, lots of action, well plotted...

An impeccable minimal style that keeps the pressure up with small touches. In the vein of Jack Reacher , a real compliment. Anxiously waiting for the next one.

Great read; I couldn't put it down. It reminded me somewhat of Lee Child's Jack Reacher series.

What an amazing read from beginning to end.
